No Records on This Site
This site hosts no jail rosters, booking photos, mugshot galleries, arrest records, or court records. It points to the offices and locators that hold them. To confirm custody, obtain a booking record, or ask about a photo, send the request to the office that holds it. That usually means the sheriff's office or the corrections department. Alabama's public-records law, Ala. Code Section 36-12-40, gives residents the right to inspect many public records. The holding office decides what it can lawfully release. One point deserves repeating here. An arrest is an accusation, not a conviction. A booking photo proves a person was photographed, not that the person is guilty.
